Krystal Marie Balm
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as well as an anchor on television at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in the month of May 2021 in order to start Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new political interest due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 primary elections and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact it had on people in her country and was inspired to appreciate the global impact of US politics. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. She founded the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
